Our house was build by one of San José's most prominent families in 1938. In renovating the house to a B&B we kept the character of this beautiful old single family home.  Located just four blocks east of the National Museum, no more than 10 minutes walking distance to the center of town. You can walk to all museums and places of interest like National Theater, Jade Museum, Plaza de la Cultura, Simon Bolivar Zoo as well as many very good restaurants, bars of all kinds and casinos in minutes.

While you're here relax on our rooftop deck or get caught up on email on your laptop with our high-speed wireless internet.  Living room, dining room, sundeck and courtyard are used by our guests to relax, meet friends or have an afternoon coffee.

Complimentary tropical breakfast is served on the garden patio each morning from 7 to 10 am. Enjoy exotic fruit juices, french bread, local preserves, fresh tropical fruit. In addition you can also order from our breakfast menu for an additional charge.

Guest rooms come in four sizes: room with one queen bed, room with one king bed, deluxe king with private jacuzzi or a room with two queen beds. Click the thumbnails to see pictures of our rooms and our hotel.

Our rooms are equipped with queen or king size beds, private bath, ceiling fan, safe, TV, cable and small fridge, stocked with a late night supply for you and your company. We offer laundry service, free luggage storage and secure overnight parking ($10.00 / night).
