Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica. Arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaría. Transfer to La Condesa Hotel and Check In.
Evening: Welcome dinner (D).
Overnight at La Condesa Hotel.

Day 2
After a hearty breakfast we will enjoy a scenic drive along the mountains on our way to meet the boat which will take us to Tortuguero. The second part of this amazing trip, involves riding in a boat which was specially designed to travel through the Tortuguero Canals, so we can marvel at the natural surroundings during the nearly 3 hours that it will take us to get to our Lodge in the Tortuguero National Park.
Overnight at Pachira Lodge or Laguna Lodge. ( B,L,D)

Day 3
Early in the morning, we will explore some of the many canals of Tortuguero. The Abundance of tropical wildlife in its natural habitat, birds, monkeys, caimans, toucans, will be striking to you. We’ll initiate our journey from the hotel, traveling in a motor boat up the canals, a unique system of natural and man-made canals that serve as waterways for transportation and exploration. A short hiking to the Tortuguero Hill is included. Free time during the afternoon for your own enjoyment of the hotel and its surroundings. (B,L,D)

Day 4
Tortuguero - Arenal: During the morning, transfer to Arenal in La Fortuna, where is located the impressive Arenal Volcano. Check In at Montaña de Fuego Hotel and free time for enjoy the hotel facilities. Before dark, tour to the famous Tabacon Hot Springs for enjoy its thermal pools and have dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 5
- Arenal / Peñas Blancas River
After breakfast we depart for the tranquil Peñas Blancas River for a float trip that provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Black Howler Monkeys, toucans and sloths frequent the forests that fringe the river. We return to the lodge for another memorable evening at Arenal. (B,L,D).

Day 6
- Manuel Antonio.
After breakfast, land transfer to Manuel Antonio, Quepos. Check In at El Parador Hotel and free time for enjoy the facilities and the beautiful beach. (B)

Day 7
- Manuel Antonio.
On your own for enjoy the beach and surroundings. (B).

Day 8
-Manuel Antonio - San José.
After lunch, transfer to San José. At the airport, meeting with your tour guide and transfer to Hotel La Condesa. Free evenning. (B).
Overnight at La Condesa Hotel.

Day 9
Transfer out. Transfer to the International airport and good bye. (B).
