The Best of Costa Rica

Includes:
 2 nights lodging at Best Western Irazú Hotel (first and last nights), 2 nights / 3 days excursion to Tortuguero National Park, lodging at Turtle Beach Lodge with 8 meals, tour to the Town of Tortuguero and Conservation Center and tour to the Canals of Tortuguero. 2 nights lodging at Caribbean Suerre Hotel in Puerto Viejo, Limón, 2 nights at the Volcano Lodge, 2 nights at the Sapo Dorado, Monteverde, 4 nights at Hotel Capitan Suizo, Guanacaste, 10 days 4x4 Car Rental or transfers between hotels, Airport / Hotel / Airport Transfers, daily breakfasts and all taxes.

Day 1
Arrival. Transfer International Airport to Best Western Irazú Hotel – 20 min. From the Airport.

Day 2
6:30 a.m. – Pick up time to start your journey towards Tortuguero National Park. You will have breakfast along the road in a local restaurant  Arrival at the dock where your boat that will waiting to take you to Turtle Beach Lodge. Arrival at the Lodge where they will serve you a wonderful lunch. Tour to the Town of Tortuguero. Dinner.

Day 3
 5 a.m.  Optional Boat Tour to the Canals.  Breakfast. Free time to enjoy the  hotel.

Day 4
7 a.m.  Breakfast.
 Departure from the Hotel by boat and bus. You will be dropped off at a local restaurant in the area of Guápiles. This day, the Car Rental Executive give you the 4x4 Daihatsu Terios Car, so you to start your adventure thru this beautiful country. In order to fulfill all requirements, make sure to present your passport and driver´s license updated, be 21 years old or more and credit card for the rent, insurance and deposit. Once you conclude with all the paper work, you will be ready to continue your trip towards the Caribbean Side of the country, and be a witness of the spectacular beaches of the country. Lodging at Suerre Hotel (2 nights). Approximate travel time: 3 hours.

Day 5
Free time to enjoy the activities in the area.

Day 6
Breakfast.  You will be ready to continue your trip towards the North Side of the country, and be a witness of the spectacular lava flows of Arenal Volcano, the most active one of the country. Relax at any of the hot springs SPAs of the area, while you enjoy the view to the volcano. Lodging at Volcano Lodge Hotel (2 nights). Approximate travel time: 4 hours.

Day 7
Breakfast included. We recommend you dedicate this day to explore the trails of Monteverde Cloud Forest with a bilingual naturalist guide, so you can learn about relationship between flora and fauna, and also learn about Natural History of the area. In the afternoon, you can visit some of the close by and interesting sites of Monteverde, as: the town of Santa Elena, the hummingbird gallery, the butterfly farm, or the Monteverde Cheese Factory, funded and operated by the Quaker Community. Lodging at Volcano Lodge.

Day 8
This day you will drive to Sapo Dorado Hotel. This afternoon you will be able to enjoy any of the main activities of the area. Lodging at Sapo Dorado Hotel.

Day 9
This day you will be able to enjoy any of the main activities of the area or of the hotel. Lodging at Sapo Dorado Hotel.

Day 10
Breakfast included. This day you will drive to the area of Guanacaste, this area has a lot of beautiful beaches. You can visit some of this beaches or visit the nacional parks. Lodging at Capitan Suizo Hotel.

Día 11, Día 12:
Breakfast included. This day you will be able to enjoy any of the main activities of the area or of the hotel.

Día 13:          
Breakfast included. This day you will drive your car to the Best Western Irazu Hotel. Drive along the famous Monte del Aguacate; enjoy the stunning view and the towns of Atenas and La Garita. Approximate driving time: 5 hours.

Día 14:
Breakfast included. Return your car at the Car Rental Office located near the Airport.
